This cut crystal pitcher dates to approximately 1905. It is 9 1/4” tall. It features pinwheels. It was made in Toronto. The Gowans Kent Company began in the 1890s. They imported their blanks from the best U.S. crystal manufacturers. Their cut crystal pieces were some of the best made in Canada. The company suffered a devastating fire in 1899, but was able to reopen shortly after. There are no chips. The piece has only slight signs of wear on the bottom surface. Crystal is carefully packed and shipped fully insured. It is very clear and heavy and rings like a bell when tapped.
