This platter was made between 1842 and 1860 in England by Jacob Furnivals. It is sometimes difficult to get an accurate date on Furnivals pottery but this platter is stamped only with Jacob’s initials without any partners so it can be determined. It measures 20 1/2” by 15 1/2”. It is in remarkably good condition for it’s age. There are two tiny dots on the surface , please see last two photos. There are no chips or cracks and only mild crazing. It is a lovely piece for antique pottery lovers.
