This plate was made by the Ralph Stevenson Pottery in Staffordshire England between 1832 and 1835. The pottery was in business between 1810 and 1835. “Millenium” (used to be spelled this way), was his rarest and most interesting pattern because of the religious symbolism. The plate shows the biblical story of the second coming of Christ as told in the book of Isaiah. The plate is 7 3/4”. It is a red transferware plate with a pearlware glaze. Carefully packed and fully insured. The condition for the age is amazing.
